Kaitlin Skye Collins is a Chicago-based performer, educator, and choreographer. She began her contemporary training with Bataille Academie of the Danse in 1998 and her hip hop training in 2011 under Suavé of Hip Hop ConnXion HQ. During high school and college, Kait gained experience in the competitive dance world.
Kaitlin then went on to study Linguistics at Illinois State University with a focus on Italian and Spanish Language. While at ISU, she co-founded Urban Movement, a pre-professional urban dance company that has been widely acknowledged among the Chicago Urban Dance Community.
After her time at Illinois State, Kaitlin returned to the Chicagoland area to continue her training with Hip Hop ConnXion HQ. She joined faculty at Mohler Dance Academy (now Synergy) in 2016 where she found her passion for directing and administration. Kaitlin was brought on to assistant direct M3 Dance in 2017.
Today, Kait plays an administrative role in many areas of the dance community. She is the Front Desk Manager here at Synergy, manages M3 Dance alongside Ms. Lauren and Ms. Tressa, directs Future Force (the youth company of the Hip Hop ConnXion Family), is the Administrative Director of Shaping Lens (a docuseries by Annie Franklin), and is also on the board of Reveal Dance Chicago - an up and coming convention/training program based in Chicago.
