Hi! I'm Lauren Blane, Owner and Director of Synergy Dance Academy.

For more than fifteen years, I've had the privilege of teaching dancers of all ages and abilities, and it continues to be one of the greatest joys of my life. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Grand Valley State University and spent ten years performing professionally in concert dance, musical theater, and commercial dance. Those experiences not only shaped me as a performer but also strengthened my belief in the importance of strong technical training, thoughtful instruction, and a lifelong commitment to learning.

In 2020, I was honored to continue the legacy of Mohler Dance Academy when I purchased the studio from Tressa Mohler, who faithfully served our community for fifteen years. It has been a privilege to build upon that foundation while continuing to create a place where dancers can grow, thrive, and feel at home.

While I loved performing, teaching has always been my true passion. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a dancer accomplish something they once thought was impossible, grow in confidence, and discover a genuine love for dance. My hope is that every student who walks through our doors not only becomes a stronger dancer but also develops the confidence, discipline, and character that will serve them long after they leave the studio.

I'm so grateful to be part of each dancer's journey and look forward to helping the next generation discover all that dance has to offer.
