Michele Broviak has an extensive professional and teaching career. She has performed and had leading roles in shows such as Guys and Dolls, Bye Bye Birdie, They’re Playing Our Song, A Chorus Line to name a few. Michele has worked with films stars such as Jessica Lange, Chris O’Donnell, Joan Cusack and Patrick Swayze.
She founded Gotta Dance Studio in Illinois which was in operation for 17 years. Her choreography won the title of “World Dance Champions” since its inception. Her dance background consists of jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, musical theater, ballroom, and baton. While continuing to choreograph and instruct all
forms of dance, she continues to receive Top Score, Entertainment, Choreography and Top Teacher Awards from various dance organizations and competitions.
Michele has choreographed over 75 shows as well as hundreds of original award-winning competition routines for her students and other competitive studios. A few of her choreography credits include A Tribute to Disney, Fosse, The Little Mermaid, Chicago, Beauty and the Beast, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Singing in the Rain, Hairspray, Annie, Cats, and Grease.
Michele has trained professional dancers that are now performing on Broadway, cruise ships, Disney, and performing with musical artists such as Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, and Cher. Many more have performed on award shows, in commercials, movies and several have become successful studio owners. She has firmly established herself as an adjudicator, choreographer, and master instructor across the country.
